			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As the sole marketing person for US Healthcare Services, a $10 million per year e-retailer of medical supplies, I managed online marketing ventures, traditional marketing, graphic design, eCommerce management, email campaigns, Pay Per Click, web development, and much, much more. As a top eCommerce store for CPAP and BiPAP machines, US Healthcare Services developed a strong reputation with patients, homecare companies, and medical manufacturers for excellence. To honor this reputation, we redesigned the website from the ground floor in April of 2008. During this time, we worked to provide not only products to our customers but also education and community opportunities for the new and experienced patient alike. While project-managing this complete website redesign, we focused on many important aspects of eCommerce and web design, including search engine optimization, keyword-rich web copy, industry best practice product merchandising techniques, rich media implementation, community and download integration, and website usability. </p>
<p>Also, during this time, I was asked to rebrand the company identity to reflect the overarching nature of our current program. Branching into new healthcare verticals required that we rebrand our image to show expertise in many areas of healthcare supplies. During this time I completed logo development, company-wide project planning and coordination, company mission statement and tagline development, and coordinated launch of rebranded company and new website.</p>
<p>My day to day responsibilities run the gamut based on what is needed in our small, but thriving, company. Some days, I may be occupied with our Pay Per Click campaigns, email marketing strategy, new product line, budgeting procedures, B2B sales programs, or managing vendors for our new conversion optimization campaign, to name just a few. My experience at US Healthcare Services has taught me to be able to wear many hats while also excelling within my main position - marketing and business development.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Prior to my employment, the Virginia Association of REALTORS had never before had a non-dues revenue sales program. I was asked to develop, market, and sell a sponsorship, ad, and exhibitor sales program to businesses trying to reach the REALTOR community. Working to supplement the dues revenue received directly from REALTORS, VAR was interested in tapping into a large market of businesses trying to find an avenue into the tightly knit REALTOR association. Using the needs of the program and events happening throughout VAR, I developed a Sponsorship Opportunity booklet and marketing program that was disseminated within a database of companies known to work with REALTORS. Using the targeted and segmented database developed during my research, I was able to solicit new sponsors, advertisers, and exhibitors through &#8220;warm calling&#8221;, direct mail, email, and face-to-face meetings. The program was extremely successful, drawing in $60,000 in non-dues revenue its first year. </p>
<p>In this position, I also managed the exhibitor portion of the VAR Yearly Tradeshow for REALTORS. I was a full customer service entity for the 60+ exhibitors and sponsors at the show (3 day event). I also attended many local REALTOR association tradeshows, exhibiting VAR&#8217;s professional services and benefits to local REALTOR groups.</p>

As the Web Development and Marketing manager I was responsible for the front- and backend of our website, including loading content, taking product pictures, developing educational tools for patients, designing web banners and marketing materials, offline and online marketing ventures, and B2B sales programs. Using our leverage as one of two major providers of CPAP medical supplies on the Web, we were able to brand ourselves as experts in the sleep industry.  </p>

Working with both personal line customers and business accounts, I amassed experience in both the B2C and B2B sales arenas. Throughout my three year career with CellularONE, I realized that a career in sales and marketing suited my skills and interests perfectly. Under the tutelage of some great sales and marketing minds, I was prepared to move forward into my next role as a Web Development and Marketing Manager.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Combining online marketing techniques with traditional marketing tactics, such as direct mail, proved to be a winning strategy for the marketing team at US Healthcare Services. As the Director of Marketing and Business Development, I conceptualized, developed, and disseminated many successful direct mail marketing campaigns that drove traffic to our website and phone systems. Above is a sample of some of those designs, including rack cards, oversized and standard sized postcards, and a 44-page product catalog. Direct mailing lists were in the range of 5,000 to 20,000 names depending on the scope of the project.</p>
